(kinky stuff though, which you are intended to overlook)
It is 31st of March, 2008, and undoubtedly there can't be a topic more relevant,
than this, as far as i can assert, with my conviction!
Yeah i know, the joke part was brought in, only to make things lighter,
cuz although,
its been a while that the intellectual stuff has been displayed more often,
people often tend to get bored!
Any person who has a mouth to feed can actually relate to the topic very easily!
You need not be a commerce grad or something else to know that,
Inflation is a disaster!
It was but known, for a fact that it was due to follow,
as an economic aftermath to the sudden rise in overall incomes everywhere!
It is a shame for us,
despite having such great intellectuals,
with the likes of Hon. Dr. Manmohan singh and Mr. P. Chidambaram,
not to mention the genius of the administrative services' guys,
we get screwed every single day!
The inflation rate,
for the week ended 15th March, 2008 has reached a 13 month high of 6.86 % !
I know that we have to accept certain inalienable truths,
profoundly as prices will rise and CONTINUE TO RISE,
but how long ??
I stay in a Metro namely Mumbai !
It accounts for the highest tax revenues for the country,
if my stats are right !
In the name of 'Measures to Reduce Economic Inequality' ,
the ' idiot ' is taking away all the money from us and
imparting free-bees to the ' have nots' !
( The entity ' have nots ' is still in question! )
Let me make him aware of the simple principle of Economics --
' The way to regulate ( 'curb' in this case ) inflation is,
through monitoring money supply in the economy! '
This son of a b**** is actually increasing the money supply,
by pumping more funds in the economy!
He imparts tax cuts, to make people happy!
He waives off farmers' loans to the extent that is fairly unimaginable!
I don't think he is fit to gauge anything but taxes!
His working principle seems to be like this
' tax everything,
distribute it to the people in an unfair manner and
inflate the economy to the extent possible!
Now the next time,
if i have to order and relish a 'MUTTER PANEER'',
I'd have to console myself with a 'ALU MUTTER' !
IF you really know,
a ' way' to get ' away ' from this turmoil tell me how..??????

hey......thts a welcome insight into the world of economics.............cud so relate to every word that u were talking bout.............and i also liked that little anecdote bout bush there...........i thout it was very blatantly candid ..........but, we usually tend to hold the president responsible for anything and everything.........not knowing if he really is behind all the conspiracy.........maybe it's perpetrated by the entire political system as such............nice blog ........

could not have agreed more with ur unsatisfied claims about the "Hon." PM and FM. yeah, sure, they're big, presumably lords of economics, but i feel that back in the 90s these guys focussed on economy, now its jst pure politics. mere puppets, doesnt matter then at the hands of an italian or anyone else. wats even more annoying is that if u luk at the fin. policy for 8-9, ul realise that far too mch was thght of a political move to help pluck the farmers' votes and not evn mch consideration was given to the IT sector, an industry that has driven us forward. the sun is setting on them as far as the policies are concerned. also, the massive liberalisation of tax rates by a huge widening of the tax slabs seems almost unreal, not surreal mind u! surreal wud have been welcome, not this. surely not.
again, instead of increasing the 80C limit, where there wudve been a deduction in certain specified activities which cudve benefitted the nation as a whole, at the same time giving a relief to ppl on just basis, the expansion of the minimum exemption limit, without increasing the 80C limit comes as a huge shocker and only goes to show the main aim of the govt, pull votes.80C can effectively channelise investments into schemes which profit the country, the ex-chequer after-all, and at the same time give relief to deserving ppl, instead PC opts for an all-serving equal relief for everyone, the deserving and undeserving alike. this shows that the govt is being unjust and has a dont care attitude towards those who actually contribute to the country.
the govt should be EQUITABLE and not equal, cos by treating everyone equally, we're being unequal ab initio hope PC gets this some day.
as for pumping money!
ask the RBI, when the dollar was weakening, they bought dollars, thru repos, and pumped in rupees in the system. the defense layout seems pretty high, but i guess the times require it. but, nothing jstifies the inability to get ur basics right!
yes they do take all ur money away ... and i guess it doesn't even reach the havenot's ...
